🚛 Non-CDL Cart Delivery Driver

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience

Waste Connections is looking for a safety-minded, dependable Non-CDL Cart Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is a great opportunity for someone interested in building a long-term career in the transportation industry, with future opportunities to grow into a CDL driving role through Waste Connections.

In this role, you'll operate a box truck or pickup truck with trailer, delivering, removing, repairing, assembling, and washing waste containers throughout our service area. You'll work independently, interact with customers, and play a key role in supporting our operations team.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• Typical hours between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Occasional Saturday work as needed

What You'll Do

• Deliver and remove residential and commercial carts throughout assigned service areas
• Operate a pickup truck and trailer or box truck safely and efficiently
• Assemble, repair, clean, and maintain waste containers
• Load and unload carts and equipment as needed
• Utilize a tablet for routing, tracking work orders, and documenting completed tasks
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain a safe driving record
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Work independently while maintaining productivity and efficiency in the field
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate a pickup truck and trailer
• Previous delivery, warehouse, moving, logistics, or transportation experience preferred
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, Amazon, moving companies, landscape crews, delivery services, or similar industries is a plus
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, loading, and moving carts throughout the day
• Commitment to safety, integrity, and customer service
