🚛 CDL Driver – Job Responsibilities

As a Local Route Garbage Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy‑duty trucks safely and efficiently to support residential and commercial waste collection. Daily responsibilities include:

• Safely operating a garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste
• Reading and following route sheets and servicing customers as scheduled
• Performing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections (check fluids, equipment, tires, safety components)
• Maintaining professional and courteous interactions with customers
• Completing other related duties as assigned

This position is ideal for drivers who value consistent local routes, steady hours, and a team‑oriented environment.

✅ What We Need From You

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL or willingness to obtain your CDL
• Clean driving record
• Minimum 1 year of local route or commercial driving experience
