Ukiah Waste Solutions, Inc., a trusted Waste Connections company, is actively hiring a CDL Driver to support our local waste collection routes in Ukiah, California. Join a team that values safety, customer service, and community impact.

🗓️ Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• Start time: 4:00 AM

• 8 to 10-hour shifts

• Occasional Saturday shifts as needed

💵 Compensation

• Hourly pay: $25–$27, based on experience

• Weekly pay schedule

🔧 Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate a garbage truck safely and efficiently on assigned routes

• Read and follow route sheets or instructions from the dispatcher

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles (check fluids, tires, safety equipment)

• Load and unload waste materials, sometimes without assistance

• Provide courteous and professional service to customers

• Complete other related tasks as assigned by supervisors

⚙️ Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Physically demanding role: frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of objects over 50 pounds

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including wet and humid environments

• Work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, and vibrations

• Moderate noise levels—PPE and safety training provided

• Must follow all safety protocols and company procedures

✅ Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

• Clean driving record

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience
