Waste Connections is currently hiring for a Roll Off Truck Driver at our hauling location in Monroe, Louisiana. This is a full-time, physically active position that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. We’re looking for safety-conscious individuals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a dependable, team-driven environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays

• Start Time: 5:30 AM

• Hours: 10–11 hours per day

• Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a roll off truck to pick up and transport waste containers from residential and commercial locations

• Follow route sheets and instructions provided by dispatch to ensure timely and complete service

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance such as checking fluids, lights, and tires

• Operate hydraulic controls to lift, secure, and empty containers in a safe and efficient manner

• Work independently in a physically demanding environment, including loading and unloading without assistance as needed

• Maintain courteous and professional interactions with customers

• Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation and safety regulations

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no manual restriction

• Clean driving record with a minimum of 1 year of roll off driving experience
