Primary Position Purpose: The Driver Recruiting Manager leads and develops a high-performing recruitment team to achieve hiring goals and key performance indicators. This role maintains full ownership of departmental workflows and applicant tracking processes to optimize operational efficiency. Additionally, the Manager ensures strict compliance with regulatory standards and company policies while auditing application files. By partnering with cross-functional leadership, the position fosters communication and strategic alignment to support overall business priorities. Position Functions: Lead, develop, and manage a team of driver recruiters, making independent and effective decisions that drive recruiting performance, operational efficiency, and team success. Maintain ownership of departmental recruiting workflows including candidate pipelines, workbaskets, phone queues, courtesy calls, and applicant tracking processes, ensuring consistent execution and continuous improvement. Drive achievement of hiring goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) through proactive leadership, performance management, and data-driven decision-making. Exercise sound judgment in reviewing and auditing driver application files to ensure compliance with company policies, hiring standards, and regulatory requirements. Make timely, informed, and effective decisions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and leadership presence. Lead onboarding and training initiatives for new recruiters while developing ongoing training and professional growth opportunities for existing team members. Provide leadership in coaching, employee development, and corrective action, including difficult personnel decisions when necessary. Lead recruiting initiatives, departmental projects, and cross-functional efforts with minimal oversight. Serve as a trusted leader and key decision-maker within the department, balancing business needs, hiring demands, compliance requirements, and operational priorities. Partner with KNX leadership and peer recruiting managers to establish consistency, strengthen communication, and create alignment across recruiting and operational teams. Lead departmental meetings, training sessions, and discussions, providing guidance, direction, and recommendations on recruiting objectives and operational priorities. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, leadership teams, and external partners through professional communication, collaboration, and effective problem-solving. Manage vendor relationships and evaluate partnership effectiveness to ensure alignment with company goals, recruiting standards, and operational expectations. Collaborate in-person with all levels of the organization to harness collective intelligence of the workforce. Attend all in-person meetings and trainings on recent developments, goals, and objectives. Participate in such discussions by offering input and advice. Regularly engage remotely and in-person with customers and potential customers to establish rapport, open communication, and expectations. Build credibility and trust among managed employees by providing prompt and constructive feedback in office when observing such need. Lead and facilitate regularly scheduled meetings and in-person trainings that harmonize collaboration internal to the department and external to other SBUs. Determine best practices and reinforce constructive and positive feedback through face-to-face interactions with employees on the floor in real time.
