Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY: We are looking to hire a Driver Services Coordinator to be responsible for the clerical and reporting functions of Safety and Compliance as well as maintenance of employee files. This role is critical to the clearance of drivers from the Dallas hub in order for them to return to over the road driving.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities

  • Confirm drivers have taken care of all Dallas Hub/Yard clearance items.
  • Documenting routine and random drug test results
  • High volume counter work taking care of drivers who report to driver services for a variety of reasons.
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintain an efficient Central Clearance Counter.
  • Provide information and assistance for all Drivers.
  • Build and Update Permit Books
  • Phones-answer driver payroll or general questions
  • Company Store Cash or Charge transactions
  • Drug Screen Collector (on the job training)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines.
  • High degree of initiative and independent execution
  • Extremely organized and attentive to detail
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Basic computer and typing skills.
  • Help desk oriented.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of tasks with professionalism.
  • Ability to provide an energetic/positive, Customer Service friendly personality with the ability to handle fast pace high volume in-person interaction.
  • Proven track record in a multi-tasking environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Service experience
  • Cashier experience
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations
  • Drug Screen Collector certification (will train and certify after hired if needed)
